Chef Ramsay informed our Hell's Kitchen chefs that the most important tool they have as a chef is their palate. With that in mind blind taste testing was the challenge of the night. Each Hell's Kitchen team member was blindfolded and had headphones on as they were fed by Chef Ramsey. Based on the results I'm not sure I want any of them to be my chef.
The summary of the Hells Kitchen blind taste results are as follows: Not a single team member, male or female, was able to identify venison, pecans, zucchini, quince, iceberg lettuce, oregano, clams or ahi tuna. The women were able to figure out cream cheese, poached eggs and avocado. The Hell's Kitchen chefs were however, able to figure out leeks, grapefruit and turkey.
In the end the Hell's Kitchen women's team won the challenge and got to go have lunch in the dark with Chef Ramsey who managed to get groped, accidentally of course. Meanwhile the men's team got to unload fruit off a truck and make sorbet for the evening, including making sure each sorbet cup was cleaned.
Complaints of Suzanne continued into the beginning of Hell's Kitchen dinner service when we were told that an anti-Suzanne team has been unofficially formed. Really? I mean, yes Suzanne is a pain and she sucked up to Chef Ramsey at lunch, but does that qualify for an anti-Suzanne team?
The eighth Hell's Kitchen dinner service began and while Suzanne might be a pain to her team she can cook scallops, Chef Ramsey loved the color of her scallops. On the men's team Chef Ramsay complimented Kevin's risotto while at the same time Van's asparagus was bland.
Then things really heated up when Andy didn't make enough mashed potatoes and Dave had to swoop in and rescue Andy from the potato miscalculation. If Andy can't fix his own potato problem, then should he really be on Hell's Kitchen? He might be a little cute, but we are only talking about mashed potatoes here.
And speaking of Andy he also fell down on the job he fell down on the job of attempting to coordinate the Blue kitchen. No one on the Hell's Kitchen blue team knew what they was supposed t be doing at all, especially Andy.
Meantime over on the red team Suzanne sunk the ship because she could not time her lamb chops and made the red team start over again on a whole tables orders.
In the end Chef Ramsay found that both teams were equally weak but named the blue team the winner of the night and Dave was the best performer for the Hell's Kitchen blue team.
Tennille was the best of the worst for the night. She has to pick two to be eliminated and not surprisingly one of them was Suzanne. The other team mate selected for elimination was Sabrina. But Chef Ramsay had his own idea for the Hell's Kitchen night and pulled Amanda forward to be eliminated and then retrieved her jacket and sent her packing.
So Chef, if you are pick your own cooks to be eliminated why go through the process of having people nominated on Hell's Kitchen at all? I think you got it wrong Chef Ramsay, I couldn't care less if the color of Suzanne's scallops are perfect or not. She is a pain, she is not a team player, she throws anyone under the bus that makes her look bad and Suzanne needs to go home. Now.
So if we are keeping Suzanne around for the drama and the ratings then let's just call it for what it is. And I personally think the winner of Hell's Kitchen this season will be Dave. He will rise to the occasion of Chef Ramsay's whims and he will be the last chef standing. We'll wait and see.

Post a CommentYou are failing to realize that Chef Ramsay is not looking for a team player. He's looking for a team leader. There is a very big difference between the two.
I love this guy and this show. Thanks I missed this one.
