HELP

Kathryn Neff Perry
One of the problems, when you have food allergies, is that you must be very careful not to eat any of those foods. That doesn't mean that you no longer have cravings. One of my favorite cookies is Oreo mint. I could probably sit and eat the entire package. My husband brought some home the other day. I feel like an inmate, knowing they are in the pantry but I can't have them. I found myself a little while ago, standing with the pantry door open, looking for dog treats, when Oreo's---mint, no less, stared back at me. They almost took on a life of their own, saying, come on, eat just one----you won't get THAT sick.

At the health food store I found tiny little banana nut muffins I can eat. I don't know what they are made from, but they are good. I've stopped several times to buy some, and each time they tell me they are having trouble getting them ordered. I may have to drive to California, or where ever they are ordering them from.

In fact, I may have to drive around the block just to keep myself from eating Oreo's. I need to remind my husband the next time he has the urge to buy them, he needs to hide them under the bed.
