When business is good everybody is smiling. The boss happily hands out big raises plus a generous Christmas bonus. But unfortunately sunny days always come to an end and then the clouds set in. The days are now cloudy and there will be no more raises or bonuses. Business is bad and the boss is almost broke. There is talk of millions losing their jobs and going on welfare. But there is good news. The government is bailing out the auto industry, we hope that our company will be next in line.
We must bail out all generous employers. They never let their workers down when they needed a raise. So let the government help them all in their hours of need. I am not only talking about bailing out the auto industry but every company who is having difficulty meeting their payroll. Cash strapped employers should start sending Washington a list of their monetary needs along with a request for a quick bail out. Financial discrimination is wrong and all troubled companies are entitled to a government buck.
