Help Cure Your Cough with Curry Powder and Garlic

A Simple Natural Recipe to Help Relieve Congestion

About a month ago I got sick with a common flu bug that was going around at work. I had a persistent cough for a couple of weeks and tried everything over the counter to get rid of it. I was taking cough drops, Tylenol cold and flu for congestion, Alika seltzer tabs. Nothing seemed to be working so I decided to look at home remedies online, because I was at my wits end. I was weak from the continued coughing attacks, and on top of that I still had to be at work. Here is what I found that worked almost immediately.

My natural remedy to relieve cough and congestion

Recipe

1/2 cup jasmine rice
2-teaspoons yellow curry powder ( you can buy in the spice section at your local supermarket)
tablespoon-minced garlic

Cook your jasmine rice according to the directions on the back of the bag. Add in the curry powder and garlic and let it cook with the rice. After let it cool and serve.

Curry and garlic are not the best tasting thing when you don't feel well, but getting down will be worth it later when you feel better.

After making my natural remedy curried jasmine rice my throat felt better a couple of hours later, and when I woke up the next morning my cough was completely gone! It didn't come back either. I wished that I would of gone with the natural remedy first instead of filling my body with over the counter drugs. Most people already have garlic in their pantry and curry powder and rice are very inexpensive so its also cheaper then buying over the counter drugs.
