Help Find Lindsey Baum

Missing from McCleary, Washington Since June 26

Kathleen Bona
Help find Lindsey Baum. This little 10- year old girl went missing from McCleary, Washington the night of June 26 while walking home from a friend's house. Several tips and searches have done little to solve the mystery of Lindsey's disapearance.

Lindsey was last seen on her return trip from her best friend's home about 9:30 on the night of June 26. She is described as 4' 9", 80 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes; wearing a blue hoodie shirt, blue jeans and black slip-on shoes. Her walk home from her friend's home should have taken 10 minutes - that was 24 days ago.

Snippets of her story have been aired on America's Most Wanted and the Nancy Grace Show. Nancy Grace was planning on dedicating a large portion of one episode to Lindsey Baum, but the missing girl's story lost out (I'm told) to "breaking" news regarding the death of Michael Jackson. That is a crying shame - we know where Michael Jackson is - we don't know where Lindsey is! More needs to be done in the media as far as missing children are concerned. But ratings are ratings I guess!?

For the first-hand account of the evening Lindsey went missing, see http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1890148/lindsey_baum_10_missing_from_mccleary.html.

How can you help?

Visit http://www.lindseybaum.com/ Look at Lindsey's picture. She could be anywhere, even in your neighborhood. Donations can also be made here to help support the Baum family with on-going searches.

Read the posts on http://scaredmonkeys.net/index.php?topic=5541.0 and http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85783. Both are communities of intelligent, concerned people who are relentlessly digging and searching through information, working towards finding this little girl who should have celebrated her 11th birthday on July 7 with cake and balloons at home with her mom. These people are on top of things regarding missing children. They have really gone digging into many cases... making phone calls, visiting the areas of where children have gone missing, picking apart stories of witnesses, etc. Read through these forums; something you see may sound off an alarm; another pair of eyes can help!

Sadly, there appears to be more help from citizens than the media.

Read. See pics of Lindsey. Send Tweets. The more people that are aware of her disapearance, the sooner the chance of Lindsey being found and the sooner the scumbag(s) who nabbed her is put to justice!

I am not a violent person. Seriously, I just yelled at my son today for playng too rough with a GRASSHOPPER. But I have worked in prison and had to restrain myself around the type of people who hurt children...I can honestly say I wish horrible acts upon them, and that is so not me....but I can't stand it. I get a sick knot in my stomach each time I hear of this...it grips me and hardens me, and I want these people actually tortured and then killed. I can't even believe these are my words, but they are. anyone who does these things...especially to take SOMEONE ELSE'S child off the street and....omg I have to stop. Great writing here...just horrible story. I hope there is, by some miracle, a happy ending here...
