Kids love Easter and crafts, so what could work better than keeping your kids occupied with an Easter craft. They will be wanting to do this craft long after Easter is over. Follow these steps to show your kids how to create an Easter eggshell mosaic.

ITEMS NEEDED:

You will need eggs, and an Easter eggs coloring kit. You will also need some glitter. You will need construction paper and crayons, pens, or markers. Also have some glue on hand for this craft.

CREATE THE EASTER EGGSHELL MOSAIC:

To start on this Easter craft, first, you will need to hollow out the eggs. Do this by poking holes into each end of the eggs and blowing the yolks and egg whites out of the eggs. Next, you will color the eggs with the Easter egg coloring kit. Then you can glitter the eggs if you would like.

Once the eggs have been colored, glittered, and dried you can break them up. Kids will love to do this. You may want to place the eggs in plastic bags and then break them up gently into tiny pieces. The next step is to have your kids draw a simply object on the piece of construction paper.

They could draw an Easter egg, a flower, balloon, and so on. Let them use their imaginations, they will want to do this over and over again. Then glue the inside section of what the child drew on the construction paper. Then sprinkle the broken pieces of the eggs over the glue, you may need to press the pieces into the glue a little to make them stick well.

Once they have set for a few minutes to dry, shake the paper to get the unglued pieces off of the construction paper. Then the pieces left on the paper will be in the shape of the object that your child drew. They will love this craft and you will too, because it will keep them busy for hours.
