Help Wanted- for My Blog- I Need to Learn How to Get Others to Find It-Can Anyone Help?
to have a place to write my thoughts
to write tales, poems or tales of
long ago..
or to have someplace to go.
when I need to write
and
want to have others
share it as well.
So far the only one who looks at my blog
is me!
or maybe someone who tripped on it
on the way to read someone else's blog.
Amazon.com send me a link to their site
so I could post the blog
and maybe someone would see it
and buy something from their
online store.
and...
I could earn a cent or two
I tried to fix the link
and lost it from my blog
so now I have no hope of anyone
using my blog to place orders
for Amazon.com
Now this is what I would like
Someone to come along
and teach me how to get my blog to be seen
and to have Google find it
and show it to others..
or..
I will keep writing the blog Along Life's Path
just for my own eyes...

I'm just getting to the point where I can cut and paste without thinking about it. But I give good moral support. :)
I've added your blog to my favorites . . . I mean I'm following your blog. ;) There are blog exchanges on the net. It might take a few months but you have good content so people will stop by and read soon. Don't forget to add keywords in your content. Words that Google robots will pick up. Add the photos of yesteryears and that will give your blog a little bit of spice. My blog ranked 4 on google but it's dropped to a 2 pagerank. You will want to find other blogs with high rankings and ask to link. Make sure you are reading their blogs. Keep blogging, you'll get there.

Smorg This is a great idea. I do not know how to do what you mentioned, but I will figure it out. Linking the blog? But I thought that I had linked this to the blog, but I looked at it yesterday and noticed that the link was missing on this article and I had a link prior. I will see what I can do with this. Hiya Sondra! It'd be great if you can edit this poem and add in a link from here to your blog. And you might want to move that 'follow' widget from the bottom of the page to the sidebar, too, so that visitors can easily find it. :o)
Linda LJ - great advice. That is what I do. Here is a link to the Amazon Associate: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/login/login.html I have yet to earn from it and played with it quite a bit. I get traffic but not much. Good luck!
