Help Yourself Prevent Fatigue & Worrying

Mr. Scott
Are you often plagued with fatigue and worry for most of your time during any day of the week? Do you often have a very deep sense of intense loneliness and despair that you can not seem to shake on a daily basis? If so, then perhaps the following ideas and exercise positions can help you with preventing fatigue, worrying and help improve your overall happy disposition.

1. Keep a notebook or a scrapbook for "inspirational" reading. Into this book you can paste all the poems, or short prayers, or quotations, which appeal to you personally and give you a positive lift. Then, when a rainy afternoon sends your spirits plunging down, perhaps you can find a recipe in your notebook or scrapbook for dispelling the gloom. Many patients kept such notebooks for years and have said it was a spiritual "shot in the arm".

2. Do not dwell too long on the shortcomings of others. A woman who once found herself developing into a scolding, nagging and haggard-faced wife was suddenly brought up short one day by a question from her best friend which was: "What would you do if your husband died?"

The woman was so shocked by the idea of her husband suddenly dying that she immediately sat down and drew up a list of all her husband's good points. The woman ended up writing a very long list. So, why not try the same thing the next time you feel like you have married a tyrant? Maybe you will discover, after reading your spouse's virtues, that he or she is a person that you would like to meet very much.

3. Become very interested in other people. Develop a friendly and healthy interest in all of the people who share your life. A good example of this is an ailing woman who one day felt herself so "exclusive" that she did not have any friends. She was told by her family to try and make up a story about the next person she met.

So, the woman started doing this one day in the back of a public city bus by weaving backgrounds and settings for every person she saw climbing on and off the bus. The woman tried to imagine what the lives of these people had once been like in the past. Then, a few hours later, the woman found herself talking to people everywhere after she departed from the bus. Then a few weeks later, she soon became happy, alert and a very charming human being who quickly felt cured of her "pains".

4. Make up a schedule for tomorrow's work day before you go to bed tonight. There are many people in this world who feel driven and harassed by the unending round of work and things they must do. They feel as though they could never get their work finished while always being chased by the clock.

To cure this sense of hurry, and worrying, some people have tried drawing up a work schedule every night for the following day. What happened as a result? More work was accomplished and there was much less fatigue, including an overwhelming sense of pride and personal achievement with lots of time left over for complete rest and enjoyment.

5. Avoid tension and fatigue by always trying to breathe slowly and just relax. Nothing on this planet will make you look old sooner than tension and fatigue. Nothing else will also wreck such havoc with your personal joy and the freshness of how you appear physically on the outside to other people. Yes, you have got to always remember to relax. Strangely enough, a good hard floor is very often better to relax on than a modern-day inner-spring bed. It can give a lot more resistance and it is also very good for the spine.

Now, here are some great exercise techniques that you can perform at home during your own free time to help you with relaxing and preventing fatigue and worrying. Try these exercises for one week and see what you can achieve in your personal life by doing all of them. Also see what these exercises can do for your physical appearance and overall happy disposition.

Exercise Position # 1 - Lie flat on the floor whenever you feel tired. First try and stretch yourself as tall as you can. Then roll around on the floor if you want to do it. Try doing this exercise position at least twice a day.

Exercise Position #2 - Close your eyes. You might try saying something like how the sun is shining overhead outside and how the sky is blue and sparkling. Say something about how nature is calm and in control of the world or how as a child of nature you are mentally and emotionally in tune with the entire known universe.

Exercise Position #3 - If for some reason you can not lie down, because you can not spare the time, then you can achieve almost the same effect sitting down a good, comfortable chair. A hard, upright chair that is comfortable is the best for trying to relax. Sit upright in the chair as tall as you can, like a seated Egyptian statue, and let your hands rest, palms down, on the tops of your thighs.

Exercise Position #4 - Slowly try and tense up your toes on both of your feet. Then let your toes completely relax. Next fully tense up the muscles in both of your legs and then let them both fully relax. Do this slowly upward, with all of the muscles of your entire body, until you get to the top of your neck. Then let your head roll around very heavily, as though it were a football. While doing this, keep saying to all of your muscles to let go.

Exercise Position #5 - Quiet your nerves with very slow and steady breathing. Breathe from very deep down. The yogis of India were often taught that rhythmical breathing is one of the best methods ever discovered for soothing the human nerves.

Exercise Position #6 - Think of all the wrinkles and frowns in your face and then smooth them all out. Loosen up the worry-creases you feel between your brows, and at the sides of your mouth. Do this at least twice a day, and maybe you will not have to attend a health club twice a week to get a professional message. Maybe your wrinkle lines will finally disappear from the inside out!

Hopefully, these great ideas and exercise positions can help you with learning how to eventually prevent fatigue and worry and help improve your overall happy disposition!
