Helping Your Child Prepare a Gift for His or Her Teacher

If you son or daughter expresses his or her interest to give something for his or her teacher, you should support the idea wholeheartedly. Teachers deserve to feel really special so help your kid decide what gifts to give to his or her teacher. Most teachers would love to have something that his or her student made him/herself so you should help your kid prepare something that is truly nice.

To help your kid choose the right gift for his or her teacher, here are some gift ideas that you can make together with your kid:

1. A teacher's memory box. You can help your kid create a memory box for his her teacher. Get a nice box and help your kid decorate it. Ask your kid to collect some pictures that he or she has with the teacher, make a copy of the pictures and help your kid create a collage. You can past the collage the collage on a box to create a nice design. Fill the box with some nice mementos for the teacher.

2. Pressed flower paperweight. A pressed flower paperweight is something that your kid can easily prepare. The good thing about a pressed flower paperweight is that the teacher can use it on his or her table and your kid can feel mighty proud of his or her creation.

3. Rubber stamp jar. A rubber stamp jar is something that is easy for your kid to prepare. Just give your kid a jar and ask him or her to decorate that jar for the teacher.

4. School frame photo. A school frame photo would make a very good gift for a teacher. If your kid has a class picture, make a copy of that class picture and help your kids prepare a frame for it. Buy some really nice cardboards and frames and then ask your kid to put it all together. You may also you kid to write something on the bottom of the picture for his or her teacher.

5. Chocolate gift basket. If the teacher happens to love chocolates, you should help your kid prepare a chocolate gift basket for his or her teacher. To the chocolate store with your kid and let him or her choose some chocolates for the teacher. When your kid have choose the chocolates for the teacher, get a nice small basket and help your kid arrange the chocolates inside the basket. Ask you kid to prepare a nice card to with the chocolate gift basket.
