Henry Cavill of Tudors Will Star as the Next Superman
He has big shoes to fill but the very handsome British actor, Henry Cavill, at least has the looks. The Tudors star will take on the role of Superman and his alter ego, Clark Kent, in the upcoming Superman movie, due out in December of 2012.
Trading in metal armor for leotard and a cape, Cavill will look good either way. Hopefully he will do Superman proud!

I am skeptical. Not of the actor but of this project. No one will ever do it better than Christopher Reeve IMHO. Attempts have been made at breathing new life into Superman before. With the right director, and the right vision, it may be possible to deliver Superman to a new generation. I just wonder if this isn't just another lame attempt at modernizing a classic.
