Henry Melton

Falling Bakwards

Elizabeth J. Baldwin
Henry Melton, author of the award winning Emperor Dad, has done it again.

His writing style is much like that of Robert A. Heinlein and Isaac Asimov when they were writing what was known at the time as Juvenile Fiction. Now we call it young adult fiction, but Henry Melton's books are a satisfying read for adults as well.

I was privileged to be a beta reader for Falling Bakwards. Henry is kind enough to send his first readers copies of the finished book. When I received a copy of his book I looked it over, decided the cover art was excellent and casually opened it. It was quite awhile before I put it down again and then only reluctantly. When you consider I'd already read the book this is unusual. Falling Bakward engaged my attention and kept it until I was forced to stop reading. Now that I consider the sign of a good writer.

With most writers one read through is sufficient. There are a few, such as Terry Pratchett or Anne McCaffrey whose books I read again and again, but those are exceptions. After this I am going to have to dig out my copies of Henry Melton's previous books and reread them.

Henry Melton now has five books available at Amazon.com for your reading enjoyment.
