Her Heels Were Made for Walking on Survivor Samoa

Reality Rehash
Survivor Samoa was rather strange this time around. Jeff missed the reward challenge and Galu was actually shown. What's going on here!?!?!? A balanced tribal showing made for a much better episode with a sad, sad ending. The night following the third Foa Foa Tribal Council, Jaison was not too happy with himself. He was tired, hungry and thirsty and he thinks Survivor was the worst decision of his life. He's going downhill, is he Olson 2.0? The next morning was the same for Jaison who complained to Russell who complained to us that Jaison was complaining. Russell quickly changed his tune and continued his "I dominate" speech as we turn to Galu.

As normal Galu was peppy, except for Shambo. She still complained that people weren't working and it's true, half the camp was sleeping the entire episode! Drama somewhat went down though as Erik approached Shambo for hidden idol clues followed by John doing the same thing. She told them both the first and second clue, giving them enough to find the idol and actually thinking it could help her!?!?!? It won't... and sadly she'll never get the chance to find it. Back over at Galu it was Tree Mail time as Mick had to choose two people to take with him on a "mission". He chose Natalie and Russell, someone we know rather well and someone we've only just began to see.

I must admit that reward challenge was rather iffy and awkward. It all started with the three from each tribe (Russell/Shambo/Dave played) meeting in a large sand circle with crates around the area. Jeff was nowhere in sight and the six just stood there. Russell made the first move and they immediately realized they were on their own. The challenge was simply bocce ball. The person to get their ball closest to a pole would win. After Mick and Russell had the two closest the entire time, it came down to Dave from Galu with the final ball. He got RIGHT against the pole, pulling out a last minute winning and gaining the tribe chickens. Yes! More Shambo airtime!

Before we get to the Shambo love, let's talk about Galu. They were depressed about winning, we get that. But we also got to see Russell continue his "dumb ass girl" alliance. He had decided to ditch Jaison and move onto Natalie as final two. She's onto the plan though, she wants to be strung along knowing people will hate Russell and give her the win. I have a feeling someone dyes their hair blonde! Back over at Galu we got a MUCH better glimpse of Erik. He was basically the new star of the show, just under Shambo of course. He sent everyone away or to sleep so he could find the idol and that he did. Erik now holds the power at Galu and nobody knows he has it, considering all the dumb idiots think there is only one idol and that's at Foa Foa. How does that make ANY sense?

When the three returned from the chickens everyone was stoked and Shambo took to caring for them. She clucked and clucked all night long and in the morning she laid an egg! I mean the chicken did. Too bad she left it out though... that's Survivor suicide but it did add a great moment as Erik got close lined by the close line! Vine 1, Erik 0. Nobody but Erik seemed to care that the chicken was missing. He hates his tribe, I don't blame him. Just don't call Shambo crazy (even if she is) or my new found favorite will drop to the bottom fast!

Immunity and Jeff then returned, where was he anyway?, and it was all about the stacking. After stacking boxes tribes then moved onto a rope course and stacked some more. The first boxes were boring but with Galu in the lead the entire time you would think they would have won. But they have Monica, whoever she is, who sucked on the rope bridge and allowed everyone on Foa Foa to catch up. Even though Galu was winning at the second boxes, Natalie pulled out the win for Foa Foa who FINALLY won something. Thank God because I'm starting to like them, only somewhat though, even if they gave Galu the chance to send one of my favorites home.

Before their first Tribal Council everyone on Galu scrambled. Yasmin annoyed Kelly, who?, who then tattled to everyone that Yaz wanted to steal her coconut milk! Wah wah wah. That led everyone to want to vote Yasmin, but leader I rule everything on this tribe Russell was against it. He wanted Monica to go for sucking at the challenge and I was right there with him. Erik played middle man, going between the two voting groups to see which would win out. Sadly the one I DIDN'T want to win did and yeah.... an amazing complainer and confesional giver would go home.

Tribal Council offered yet another first, and awkward, moment with Yasmin arriving in high heels. She wanted to impress Jeff and that she did. Yaz was amazing at Tribal Council. She rolled her eyes, called out Monica and of course got voted out. I don't get why people make such stupid decisions early on but I'm glad Foa Foa kept losing and losing, or we wouldn't have even had this much time to get to know crazy Yasmin and her amazing confesional skills. Monica stays, whoever she is, and hopefully goes next week. I mean she could just disappear for all I care since she's talked about what, twice now? If that.
