Her Knight

Catch her when she falls
Love her when she doesn't love herself

Don't just give her your excess but give her tenfold that
And then give her more

Don't be just or fair
But be always prejudiced as you should rightfully be

Be gentle when justice says you should be harsh
Be warm when you want to be cold

Love her like He does
He carried a cross for her
So go and pick up yours

You want to love her?
Then let Him be your patience

When she needs help remember that He is there too
And when you are angry remember the straight and narrow path
And remember that she is His beloved too

If she needs a warrior
Be strong in Him

If she needs a poet
Let His truth be your love song

If she needs to cry
Then be baptized

If you want to be her knight
Only the Full Armor of God will do
