Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Pin Straight Delivers More Than Expected

I am always up for trying new shampoos and when I had the chance to try out Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Pin Straight shampoo and conditioner, I wasn't really expecting much in the way of results. I already have fairly straight hair (it has a slight wave to it), so I was pleasantly surprised with what I found with this this particular shampoo and conditioner.

Scent
First of all, I love the scent of the Dangerously Straight Pin Straight shampoo and conditioner. It is a light, fresh scent that makes my hair smell great. The bottles state that the shampoo and conditioner have a fusion of honeyed pear and silk and whether the honeyed pear offers the scent or not, the soft, fruity smell sticks with your hair.

Detangling Properties
With my fine, straight hair, one of my biggest struggles is with tangles. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Dangerously Straight Pin Straight shampoo and conditioner from Herbal Essences has wonderful detangling properties. My daughter and I both have been using it and agreed that after using this shampoo and conditioner continuously for a few days, our hair is more manageable and much easier to keep tangle free.

Softness and Manageability
My hair is fairly soft to begin with because it is fine, but I have noticed that it is soft and quite manageable since I have been using this particular shampoo and conditioner from Herbal Essences.

Straightening
Finally, the Dangerously Straight Pin Straight shampoo and conditioner from Herbal Essences offers straight hair for the user. While my hair is fairly straight to begin with, I honestly can't judge this effect for myself. My daughter on the other hand has fairly wavy hair that she often brushes and combs in an effort to straighten it (she wants her hair perfectly straight and doesn't care for her waves--I would trade her). She began using the Dangerously Straight Pin Straight shampoo and conditioner at the same time I did and she has noticed that it does indeed help her hair to lay flatter.

She also told me that the more she has used the Dangerously Straight Pin Straight shampoo and conditioner, the more it has helped her comb her hair straight.

Conclusion
I will admit that I was expecting to use the Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Pin Straight shampoo and conditioner a few times then consider it a shampoo and conditioner I would never again use. My assessment is actually quite different and in all honesty, I can see myself buying this product and continuing to use it. Overall I am very pleased with the results I have found from using this product myself and my daughter is sold on it.

While I can't say that I've noticed drastic differences regarding straight hair, my daughter is pleased with the results. Ultimately, I like this shampoo and conditioner for the extra qualities, most specifically the detangling properties.
