As with all products from this budget line of hair products, the Drama Clean Refreshing Shampoo is very affordable. I paid only $2.99 for a twelve fluid ounce container. This line of shampoos, conditioners and styling aids can be found at drugstores, grocery stores and discount department stores that have a beauty aisle. I love how affordable and widely available Herbal Essences products are.
The simple packaging of this shampoo is very appealing. The bottle is clear, which shows off the rich green color of the shampoo. The lettering is an off white which is very subtle and pleasing to the eye. The lack of flash and glitz on the bottle conveys the message that this hair product is so good, it doesn't need to rely on fancy marketing to draw in consumers.
The ingredients of this shampoo are listed on the back of the bottle and include water, fruit juice, orange flower extract, citric acid and leaf extract. Other components of this hair product are Sodium laurel sulfate, sodium chloride and fragrance. The full list of ingredients can be found on the container or at the Herbal Essences website.
I absolutely love how delicious this shampoo smells. It is infused with berry tea and orange flower and the resulting scent is fantastic. It is a nice mixture of sweet citrus and flowers. The aroma definitely smells clean and fresh and makes you want your hair to smell this good. Not only does it smell fantastic in the bottle, it also lingers in the hair long after you exit the shower. I really don't care much for shampoos and conditioners that give off a great scent in the first moments after using, but then fade within an hour. This is one beauty product that has great staying power.
Overall I would have to give Herbal Essences Drama Clean Refreshing Shampoo a full five star beauty rating. It is super affordable and very accessible. It truly leaves the hair so clean in squeaks, but does not cause static or fly aways. It makes untangling my children's hair much easier, as it cuts through knots and product buildup. It's gorgeous scent lingers well through the day. Normal daily hair washing only requires one lathering and one rinsing which makes it even more of a bargain. This is truly one budget shampoo that lives up to it's claims, and then some.
