Herbal Essences Hello Hydration 2-in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner Product Review

Hair care can sometimes be difficult in winter, dry indoor heat and cold outdoor air can leave hair very dry and frizzy. The scalp can also suffer and be dry, itchy, and flaky. Stresses of the holidays can also take a toll on our bodies. No matter how much water we try to consume our skin and hair can become very dry. Regardless of the season, our schedules still need a lot of streamlining. One routine that would benefit from winterizing is personal care. The entire body benefits from limiting the time we spend in the shower or bath daily. The temperature of the water should be warm not hot, and the time spent in the water should be fairly brief -15 minutes on average. Water that is too hot can dry the skin, as can spending too long in the shower or bath in winter.

Having tried many two in one products before, I was a bit leery of trying Herbal Essences Hello Hydration 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner. Many shampoo/conditioner combinations cleanse very well but fall short in the conditioning department. This product however is very different, it conditions very well. You don't need to use a lot of the product to get good results. At the price of $5.59 before tax for a 23.7 ounce bottle it is a better value than at first glance. You need very little of this great smelling shampoo/conditioner product.

My husband and I have purchased two bottles of this product for this month. I imagine the first bottle may last us into early next month, even with both of us washing our hair daily. The scent is a pleasant one that dissipates quickly of coconut and orchid extracts of which are in the product according to the packaging and ingredient list.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has very curly hair like myself or whose hair and scalp can be very dry in the winter. I'd also recommend it to anyone who wants to save a few minutes on their personal care routines. My own can sometimes take far longer than I would like for reasons I can't control so I try to trim things down some by using two in ones or products that work similarly.

My husband doesn't mind using this product either although it is scented, the scent is surprisingly not too feminine and it does vanish fairly quickly. We have both been using it daily to combat the dry air of our apartment, which used to irritate our scalps. We have been using the product for about 2 weeks and the irritation has gotten to be much less. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting soft and clean hair in one quick step. The packaging is also very fun in that any descriptions are written as if the shampoo/conditioner is describing itself. All around it is a great hair care product.

This 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner sounds like something that would be able to tackle my thick curly hair. It gets quite dry in winter.
