Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Hairspray Review

Herbal Essences has long been known for their beautifully scented shampoos and conditioners, but they've moved away from their memorable orgasmic shampoo commercials. Frankly I was surprised their commercials were even allowed to be aired back in those days. Recently Herbal Essences came out with some new line of hair products, among them was there Tousle Me Softly line. I don't generally buy into commercials but I'll admit it, I bought into this one. I've tried almost every product from this line and among them was their Tousle Me Softly hair spray.

This hair spray was only one of two products from Herbal Essences' Tousle Me Softly line that I actually liked. There were several things about this hair spray that I liked, the first being the scent and price obviously. The scent is hard to describe because I can't think of a fruit or flower that it resembles. It's a nice blend of fruity and floral scent that's not too sweet or strong. As for the price, it varies by region but it's definitely affordable because it's not one of those salon products that can be bought only at certain places. I really liked that although this hairspray isn't an aerosol kind it's not heavy. I don't use hairspray often but when I do I tend to use the aerosol kind because it dries quickly and doesn't weight down my hair, however, this hairspray works just like an aerosol. I really liked that it didn't irritate my scalp either, which is another thing that I've had a problem with when it came to mist hairsprays. I also liked that it's not damaging to my hair, nor does it leave heavy residues. I found this hairspray to hold my look in well but still gave it flexibility to move and bounce naturally. In other words, I don't look like I'm wearing a hair helmet. It's definitely the perfect hairspray if you're looking to achieve that tousled hair look.

As for the downside to Herbal Essences' Tousle Me hairspray, well, I can't think of any. I've honestly tried to think of some negative points to this hairspray but couldn't come up with anything. To me it's the perfect hairspray for a casual look that allows flexibility. Now, it's not a super strong hairspray so I don't know how well it would work with a hairdo that requires a strong hold hairspray, I've never tried it.

Needless to say I love this hairspray, it's a definite favorite of mine. It's a keeper in my book. I would recommend giving this hairspray a try if you're looking for an affordable hairspray that offers hold but also flexibility.
