Here Lies the Body

Herein Lies the body,
of a life full of lonely words.
They were kicked across the future,
after never being heard.
They're dreams that died in the throat,
and were subject to damnation,
audibly aborted
by fear's procrastination.
They were choked and rendered feckless,
by nobody but their maker.
Who HAD creative genius,
but time was such a taker.
And what was never uttered once,
only cheats the rest,
and the soliloquy surrendered
brings to death it's best.
Herein lies the body,
of a life full of lonely words,
the dirt now has the songs,
it can give them to the birds.

This is where birds get their songs from, unfortunately they don't have the vocal ability to translate the dead would've been Poet's work.
