Make holiday ornaments for family members. One year my son and his wife gave my husband and I travel mugs with pictures of family members. I saw some of these mugs at the Dollar Tree for a dollar. Then all you need to do is make sure you have ink for your printer. This is a much appreciated gift. You can also offer to clean a car or a house. She would also take advantage of special sales that stores have. Like specials during early bird hours. I remember many times she would be waiting at the stores at 6:00 AM to be the first person in line to get the bargains. She also loved to shop the day after Christmas. You have to get up early to get the best things. It's not unusual for her to be up and out by 5:00 AM.

I'm not that dedicated to get up at that time, and get out into the cold cruel world. I prefer to do my shopping on the internet. Sitting in my pajamas, with a cup of coffee, in the comfort of my home, and having my purchases delivered directly to my door.
