Heritage Foundation Supporting Increase in HB-1 Visas

While Americans Are Losing Their Homes, 'Corporate' Conservatives and Liberals Want to Increase Outsourcing

Betsy Ross
In response to a recent article published on the Heritage Foundation's website with respect for their support of an increase in HB-1 temporary visas for skilled workers, below is a copy of my 'opinion' sent to them via email in light of the faltering economic conditions all Americans are now facing to some degree or another:
Read with interest your commentary on your support for the increase of 'skilled
worker' visas in this country. Unfortunately, could not disagree more that
what is needed in this country is further 'outsourcing' of labor whatever
the alleged 'temporary' need. We have a government and many supposed 'citizen'
advocacy groups which are not 'advocates' for the citizens at all, merely
for the globalists and corporate interests in this country.
We now have college graduates with advanced degrees that cannot find work in this
country, because it has been 'outsourced' and are working along side the
'jobs Americans don't want' illegal immigrants waiting tables and tending
bars.
Parents have mortgaged their homes to provide some of these educations, while 'business'
and 'corporate' advocacy groups seem to continue to foster the 'line'
that there are no skilled workers to fill these positions available in this country.
Hogwash, these are jobs that corporate interests, again, do not want to give to
Americans, because it is 'economically' more profitable for them to outsource.
I'm a conservative, and believe that the true conservative view is that our
government is there to protect individual citizens rights, not corporate interests,
and protect AMERICAN jobs from 'imports.'
Until there is not a single highly skilled mathmetician or computer tech in this
country, NO job should be available to be outsourced, which will actually protect
both our dollar and AMERICA's economy.
