Herman Cain: Character Assassination 2012 Begins
So, What Sort of Ridiculous Mud-slinging Will Be Thrown at Herman Cain?
Anticipated Herman Cain character assassination ploy number one: Political affiliation Millions of Americans have been brainwashed to believe that anyone running on a Republican ticket must hate "Joe Six-Pack." It's what Hollywood, most public school employees, and union bullies around the nation push, anyway.
Anticipated Herman Cain character assassination ploy number two: Race We can expect to see those who once decried any criticism of Barack Obama as racist now turn and attack another candidate for being a "minority," and somehow a "sellout" for running on the Republican ticket. The leftist interests in America being so focused on skin color, like they too often seem to be.
Those who rely upon collectivist mentalities might not even come up with any real concerns, in fact. We can be sure that, what was once bad to say about Democrat Barack Obama, will somehow magically be just fine to say about Republican Herman Cain. It looks like the Democrat party will need to bring out the Al Sharpton gun again.
Anticipated Herman Cain character assassination ploy number three: He's a businessman. This attack ploy is a no-brainer. Remember that the current president considers American business "the enemy" for not "spreading the wealth," and daring to profit without permission from "group-think" mentalities. There are those who live their whole lives believing all profit-oriented business is bad, in spite of their enjoying every benefit free-market business has brought to Mankind.
So, for Herman Cain to have actually faced challenges like meeting a payroll, making a tough choice of which employee to fire and which to keep on, paying taxes, and the like, the parasite class (both within our oligarchy and the populace) must see him as the enemy. Sadly, he will be portrayed as such. No need for actual facts in American politics, right?

So far he has run an ineffective campaign. I don't think he did well in the debate either.

No matter what, because of the divisiveness in our country, Democrats will sling mud at Republicans, and Republicans will sling mud at Democrats. The issues? Who cares about issues? What matters is the fight – who can sling the most sewage and rile the most people. What matters is who can dredge up the most "facts," warp them in a ways that appear to be truths, and gather forces for war. That's what matters. I'd like to see our current political system completely abolished. I'd like to see our country as ONE nation. I'd like to see people paying taxes on issues that matter to THEM. Don't have kids? Don't pay school taxes. Don't have a car or go anywhere? Don't pay for taxes to fix the roads. Rich or poor, everybody should pay a flat 25% and choose where their money goes, whether it's to education, health, or poverty. Just my opinion.
Great report Don. I have been following Cain for a couple years now. Not sure he has much of a chance though...not a longtime politico or insider...besides, he speaks too much common sense for the obtuse lefties to get him at all. And he's black, ya know. According to the left we racists on the right won't embrace him. I do love this fella though...my kinda of straight talking, smart man.
The real people who can win in 2012 aren't declaring yet. They want to avoid the character assassinations that will inevitably happen, as the mainstream media is ruthless and in the tank for the radical left. The next leader in power will be the one that shows REAL character, not cartoon characters like Sharpton, Reid, Pelosi and Obama.
I notice you have projected all this into the future, Don. I think Mr. Cain wishes he could get the kind of publicity you have in mind for him. Speaking only on my behalf, if I do temporarily go Republican to vote in their primaries, I will be happy to give Mr. Cain whatever consideration he may be due. Realistically, I don't give him a snowball's chance in hell, and that will be entirely the doings of the Republicans, not the Democrats.
This just further demonstrates the double standard. Good report! And, don't worry about the thing on Facebook!
Interesting... :o)
