Herman Cain and His Mistress

Herman Cain once speculated about dropping out of the Republican run for president because of sexual harassment scandals now is choosing to stay in the political race. A rather disturbed looking Ms. White, his mistress of thirteen years showed cell phone call receipts that Herman Cain continually called her until quite recently. The hours of the calls depicts that these are not business calls with Ms. White when one call was made at 4:26 am.

Herman Cain is quickly becoming similar to another politician who cheated on his wife while she was sickly. Remember Senator Edwards who ran for presidential nomination against President Obama? It is reported that Gloria Cain, the wife of Herman Cain for 43 years since college days had been surviving off of a pacemaker. Gloria Cain's health is not such that she can travel and campaign with her husband, Herman Cain. But to call a mistress, Ms. White at 4:26 in the morning with a sickly wife who stood up for him publicly is akin to not giving much though that the relationships would damage his bid for the presidency or his marriage.

One would surmise that who Herman Cain invites into his bedroom is his own business and have no bearing of his ability to run for the presidency. But trust is a very important part of any relationship even with one's countrymen. Herman Cain does not look defeated but was smart to speak out prematurely against the most recent allegation of having sexual relations with someone other than his wife. Herman Cain admitted that he was a friend with Ms. White before the story broke out to the public while he was speaking with the National Press Club.

However, the interview of Ms. White with GMA revealed that the woman had considered herself to be in a relationship with Herman Cain even though he is a married man. The woman, Ms. White, also admitted having financial problems with eviction notices as recent as a week before the GMA interview. But Ms. White said that she did not come out about having an affair with Herman Cain for financial gain. One listening to the interview would surmise that the woman was not lying about the affair and appeared to be a private person such as Herman Cain's wife, Gloria Cain.

On the GMA interview, Ms. White, Herman Cain alleged mistress, admitted that she slept fine the previous night meaning that she was confident that her choice to speak up about her relationship with Herman Cain was the right thing to do. Four women have come forward and claimed that Hermann Cain made inappropriate sexual advances towards them, one while driving in a car with him. However, Herman Cain brushed these sexual harassment charges aside until the latest revelation from his mistress of many years, Ms. White, emerged.

Undoubtedly, Gloria Cain must have known about the long-term affair. But with the strong personality that Herman Cain has, Gloria Cain most likely chose not to approach him about the affair or to end the 43 year marriage because of it. It was only after Ms. White announcement to the press that she had been in a long-term affair with Herman Cain that he ever thought about possibly ending his bid for the president. However, recent reports that that Herman Cain supporters are urging him to stay in the political race for the presidency.
