Heroes season 4 finale, 'Brave New World,' airs on NBC Monday night, at 8/7 central. This season's villain is gearing up to let his Carnival family loose on humanity, putting thousands of lives at risk. Like other Heroes season finales, the heroes must overcome their differences and ban together to fight for the forces of good.

NBC has offered up a series of Heroes season 4 finale extended sneak previews for fans. The 'Brave New World' clips set the scene for the finale, while offering few spoilers. Here is a rundown on the available clips:

Heroes' villain prepares for a 'Brave New World' final showdown.

On the carnival stage, Samuel (Robert Knepper) unites his followers with inspiring rhetoric. He claims, "Tonight will be a night unlike any other!" Samuel whips the Carnival up by pledging, "Tonight, once and for all, we will pull back the curtain and reveal ourselves for who we truly are." He goes on to promise his Carnival family that after that night, they will all have respect.

Samuel takes Emma (guest star Deanne Bray) to perform her solo. He claims he is going to bring people to them. Emma realizes Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) was right about Samuel and thousands of people may die. She doesn't think Samuel can force her to perform, but he hands her off to Doyle, to insure her cooperation.

Will the Heroes finale be the end of H.R.G.?

H.R.G.(Jack Coleman) and Claire (Hayden Panettiere) are still trapped underground, which promises many touching scenes. Claire insists her dad has a plan. He says there is no plan and wants to talk to her about what she saw in the House of Mirrors. H.R.G. explains to Claire that she will survive, but he probably won't. "What you saw was all true, but it's not the whole truth," H.R.G. tries to explain. He goes on to wax philosophical on how we are all the product of our experiences.

Claire insists H.R.G. is her father, for "better or worst." He chides her for trying to protect him, when it is his job to protect her from the rest of the world. The whole world will find out about her, thanks to Samuel. Claire expresses the slightly naive hope that the world is ready to except people like her. H.R.G. believes they will turn on her, even with initial curiosity. He wants her to keep her secret. "All it takes is one Sylar then the pitchforks come out and all hell breaks loose."

Another Heroes season 4 finale clip suggests that Samuel put Claire underground with H.R.G. to make her watch him die. Thanks to her powers, Claire's lungs will regenerate, even as H.R.G. is suffocating to death.

The Heroes are answering the finale's call to battle.

Hiro (Masi Oka) is with Ando (James Kyson Lee) at a hospital. Hiro receives a note with the message, " Is it really you? Come find me." The note is from from Charlie.

Another season 4 finale clip features Peter trying to convince Matt (Greg Grunberg) to find Samuel. Matt is disturbed to find Peter teamed up with Sylar (Zachary Quinto), who he adamantly refers to as a "monster." Sylar doesn't expect Matt to understand what happened in the nightmare he placed him in, but says he learned how to be a good person in Matt's head. Sylar attempts to talk Matt into giving him a second chance by allowing him inside his head.

Claire rushes to convince the Carnival family to leave. She passionately tells them that nobody wants to live out in the open more than her, but that night's show wouldn't be about that. Samuel tells her to tell them the real purpose, which is to kill people. He has manipulated his 'family' into thinking he is their savior, so they don't believe her. After all, what kind of finale would it be, if there wasn't an epic battle?
