Heroes Update

Eric Williams

For all those "Heroes" addicts out there, here is a brief review of last week's show and a preview of this week's upcoming episode as well as my brief analysis on both.

On last week's show, Suresh's dreams continued, and he found out about a boy that led him back to his father's research. Suresh is still trying to figure out how to proceed after these strange dreams.

Niki began to understand herself and her other half who has temporarily taken over I assume.

As Hiro and Ando continued their trek to New York, they met up with an interesting waitress at a diner, who had special abilities herself, but was killed by the unknown "Hero" who is supposedly out to kill anyone with any special abilities. Hiro then teleported back in time to save the waitress with the special abilities.

Peter continued his hunt for one of Isaac's paintings that had been sold and even enlisted the help of his brother, Nathan after helping him out of a small jam himself.

However, Nathan is up to something underhanded with both, the painting and his brother. Claire is trying to focus on getting ready for homecoming, but her brother found her tape with her repeatedly testing her powers. Meanwhile her father is occupied with this other heroes who is out to kill the cheerleader and everyone else it would seem.

Now, before I get started on this week's episode, let me say that the show is beginning to really heat up. The storyline has been superb so far and its cliffhanger endings definitely leave you salivating for more.

The introduction of new characters or existing ones whose abilities are now being discovered, is also a plus that is leaving viewers like myself, waiting for next week's episode like a paycheck.

On this week's show, Claire's homecoming becomes a scary event in spite of her father's efforts to protect her. Simone and Nathan team up to find one of Isaac's sold paintings, but are somehow going to encounter trouble. Hiro's back-in-time quest will unfold and Micah, who now has some sort of power as well, spends some time with his dad.
Like millions of other viewers across the country, I know where I'll be this week when "Heroes" airs - glued to the television - watching the hottest show on television.
