Heroes Volume 6 in Limbo After Volume 5 Ending
Heroes Volume 6 may never actually come to pass. Yet Heroes Volume 6 was teased at the end of Volume 5 as they usually do. The superhero show always teases their next chapter at the end of the last, with little doubt that they'll get to show what happens next. Yet this time, no one knows if the show is coming back for Heroes Volume 6, and not many outside of the fan base want to see it.
Despite no word from NBC about the future, the show proceeded as if Volume 6 would come in September. They even gave the next chapter a title, "Brave New World," and teased that Claire is set to expose her power to the world.
Of course, before the future could be teased, Heroes had to resolve Volume 5 and Season 4 as a whole. Once again, the fate of New York City and the world rested on the gang - and even Sylar - uniting to take down carnival ringmaster Samuel. And once again, New York wound up still standing, with no real or lasting casualties for the good guys, or Sylar.
This past chapter promised redemption for the heroes, and although they may have gotten it on screen, it may be too late for them off screen. Ratings have still plummeted, with the one-time mega hit still hanging on for dear life. Publicly, NBC Entertainment head Angela Bromstad said there was a "high chance" for a new season, but no decision will likely be made for a while.
NBC has held on to low rated shows longer than expected - like The Jay Leno Show for instance - so perhaps there will be a Heroes Volume 6. But if there is, more and more people won't be happy about it. Haters that turned against the series long ago will wish it would just go away, while some fans may wish for a more dignified end.
Yet those that stuck with Heroes for all five volumes, and didn't turn against it like everyone else, still hope for a new adventure - especially if the gang will indeed come out of the superhero closet. But with every new chapter, this group of fans shrinks a bit more.
If there is a Heroes Volume 6, it would be Tim Kring's latest last chance to finally fix things, though he's had plenty of last chances already. This latest chance had him ending Volume 5 before the Olympics, so the show will have a whopping seven months off, at the least, if it does come back.
Having a season, and possible series, finale in February further reflects how far the show has fallen. Now the long wait begins for word of a Heroes Volume 6 to fix things - though the wait could be eternal, if critics have their way.

I am so curious to know what happens next! Please, bring Heroes back, at least to give it a true ending, even if it's only one more season!!
"I am so addicted to this show and it's characters that I feel tortured not to know what will happen. Will Peter and Emma fall in love? Will Sylar stay true in his honor to be a true hero? I cannot go without this show. It is the most unbelievable TV series I have ever seen and I watched it on NETFLIX from beginning to end without taking breaks unless going to work. I am literally obsessed. This is one of the most eye-opening, stunning, and fantastic shows that has ever been aired... and it gives dreams a reality to the ones who are true to it. Everyone wishes they could fly, or teleport, or shape-shift, or throw fireballs, etc... and this show makes it REAL! Please continue with this show. Volume 5 ending the way it did brought so much hope to the race of people with abilities and has so much potential. Please continue! I am so OBSESSED, and I know a lot of people who feel the same way."

Please bring Heroes back! I couldn't watch it when it came on TV because I had things to do. Please bring Heroes back to at least finish what you started! I can't stand when a show/movie/book series is canceled or ended without a complete, proper ending... At least end the show with a conclusion instead of a teaser that just makes us hurt even more! The show is supposed to have a Volume 6. It wasn't supposed to end with Volume 5. I wouldn't mind if the show ended with Volume 5, but it didn't. There was more to the story that was supposed to be told!!!
It's bad enough what was done to The Cape but what nbc did to Heroes is a tragedy, with the massive box office success of super hero movies how can they fail to market this show, it's the best one they have. At the very least nbc you should finish what was started, that's what a hero would do.
I love this show so much and I guess we will never find out how it truly ends. I hate NBC for doing this
I hope they make season 6 I love the show i may be 16 butt if people took the time to watch it i think they like it just as much as i do it always keeps you on the edge of your seat.
heroes is a magnificent show. with great actors. It would be nice for volume six to come out. How many of us hate when your favorite show ends. Heroes, best show ever!!!!!!!!
Just saw the last episode volume six A Brave New World. I liked the all grown-up Claire making a point of not living in the closet.I understand how this could perhaps open a gateway of mixing specials with society...obviously though,Claires ability isnt as overwhelming or nervewrecking as others-for she does what she does to her self...she doesnt exactly put fear in your heart...nonetheless...it opens a whole new world of options...Come on...bring on more,its certainly one of the most entertaining shows Ive seen...and if we think big:what man can concieve-he can acheive..well then...lets see!!!
I really hope they continue with volume 6. This show is magnificent, I have watched the episodes from episode 1 in season 1 to episode 18 of Season 4. Please continue this epic story!
