The Restaurant of Choice was Herons at the Vancouver Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. The restaurant is located right off of the lobby of the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. It is located at 900 Canada Place Way, Vancouver British Columbia. Herons Restaurant is situated right on the water in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. It has beautiful windows that reach from the floor to the ceiling showing a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean and of popular Stanley Park's tree-lined lands. It is a central location allowing easy access to downtown shopping, sight seeing, or even a short jaunt back to your hotel of choice.
The food at Herons Restaurant is presented beautifully and professionally. All Restaurant Staff are courteous, friendly, and professional. They bring back the meaning of "Service with a Smile." They do their utmost to ensure you enjoy your meal and time together, which is hard to find in this day. The table settings are tidy and clean, and the table is cleared quickly and efficiently. The restaurant hosts a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your time together while looking out at the beautiful setting.
The Buffet Breakfast is served daily until 10am and is $26.00 per person. It is a beautiful spread of hot and cold food. Some favourites consisted of fresh fruit, smoked salmon, fresh fruit smoothies, hash browns, country sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, and plenty more. If you have an inkling for an Eggs Benedict this is also included in the Buffet but to ensure it is fresh and of course hot needs to be ordered from a server. You are able to order a single or double of the Eggs Benedict, which allows you to make another trip up to the buffet. There are many other options as well such as cereal, bagels, and pastries. However, the personal favourite of mine was the smoked salmon and the hash browns. The seasoning on the hashbrowns had me returning to that buffet long after I should have stopped.
If you are not interested in the Buffet Breakfast there is also a lovely choice of items on their Breakfast menu. All meals are again presented beautifully and professionally.
Juice and coffee is always available, and the servers make a continual habit of ensuring you are not without. The Cranberry-Apple is a lovely and tasteful juice, as well as orange and apple juice.
Herons Restaurant is a popular, reasonable and enjoyable restaurant to frequent. If I had discovered it before now, I would be a regular. I strongly urge you to give it a try.
