His email began,"please pray for me. I've had an argument with Ben (not his real name). I said lots of things I should not have said. I need your prayers."
He also went on to say he hoped the Lord would forgive him for all the things he said to that man. I assured him the Lord had already forgiven him because he asked the Lord's forgiveness.
But he needed to work on forgiving himself.
I love to hear other people share with me about the times when they have also said or done things that were not Christ like. We are human beings. We are tempted. We are tired. Our nerves get frazzled. We are frustrated. Not one of us can always react the way the Lord wants us to.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And HE said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
