Hewlett-Packard Pavilion 17" Laptop Computer, Model: DV9650US Review
I Review This Amazing Laptop Computer from Hewlett-Packard
Main Product Features:
A laptop is only as great as its operating system. With this being said, this HP laptop comes with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, which is one of the most advanced and user-friendly interfaces on the market. This operating system allows users to easily organize and compose documents, and has the necessary functions to run even the most demanding applications.
The Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo Processor, complete with 2MB of L2 cache, will speed up this laptops response time to programs, and will allow you the simplicity of being able to run several applications at one time without decreasing the overall speed and performance of this laptop.
With a hard drive that comes with 320GB's of storage, you will have plenty of room for all of your music, movies and programs. This is very important if you use your laptop for a wide variety of purposes, like most consumers. And with the help of the 170inch high-definition widescreen monitory, you will be able to clearly see your movies and video games. This screen will also help keep your eyes in top-shape by clearly depicting text from both word applications and the internet.
Speaking of the Internet, you are able to instantly connect to the world-wide-web through the Pro-Wireless 4965AGN network interface. You can also enjoy keeping in touch with your friends and family when traveling through the integrated webcam and microphone that have been built-into the laptop monitor.
If you enjoy playing video games, or even just watching movies, your experience will be greatly enhanced through the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS graphics card. This graphics card is one of the best in the industry, and will provide you with smooth transitions and fluid image movements.
Product Price:
This HP Pavilion laptop computer comes with an average price of only $1,400, and is available at most major electronic retail stores. With a 1-year manufacturer warranty, you are completely covered for this year, however, if the store you purchase this laptop from offers an extended warranty, I highly suggest purchasing it because with a computer that is this sophisticated you want to ensure you have many years of seamless use.

These are serious issues that I felt strongly the customer needed to be aware of.
a repaired device, which will, you guessed it, be repaired with the same defective parts that failed you in the first place.
This issue is very much widespread, as illustrated by the thousands of complaints about this and other models manufactured and put on the market with built in defective parts and faulty construction.
And to make matters worse, even competing companies have addressed this issue, an issue now cresting the 3 year mark, and yet HP retains their stance of denial and apathy for what they have taken from and put customers through.
But you don't have to take my word for it, the HP customer support forums at HP.com, the site erected because of this issue HPlies.com, and numerous other sources have been dealing with this for years... Sadly, I am only one of the most recent victims. I hope you will research and see for yourself and edit your review accordingly, before more people are convinced to make a costly and stressful mistake.
HP's laptops are a money-sink, especially along, but certainly not limited to, the lines such as dv9000.
Like hundreds, possibly thousands, of other customers, I am currently and painfully dealing with my dv9650us, which is now a doorstop.
This issue is specifically dealing with issues concerning the faulty graphics cards (nVidia's own words), excessively and dangerous overheating (which is caused in part by the faulty chip-set), loose or easily broken left-hinge issues, nightmarish lack of customer support or "Total-Care", as well as the fact that HP denies and even censors the complaints about these issues.
These laptops are doomed to suffer serious problems, which will render your $1500 investment useless in less than 2 years, most likely out of warranty which will result in an upwards of $400 repair using the same defective parts.
And, if you are so fortunate, or unfortunate, to find get these problems within the warranty period you will be waiting weeks for a repai
