Hey Girl, Love Yourself and Love Your Body!

Zenovia B.
Kate Hudson seems to be the latest celebrity who no longer sees the beauty that she possessed by the gene pool given to her by her mother. Heidi Montag, Lindsey Lohan and too many young celebrities just don't appreciate the beauty they have and seem to think that by going under the knife, this is going to make them happy and beautiful. Poor things, true beauty is not something we can purchase it has to come within. This poem is dedicated to all women with poor self image.

Raise your head up girl!
Why do you emulate?
That girl from the magazines
Why yourself you hate?
Why don't you like your face,
Or the shape of your chest?
You'd rather look like someone else,
and have something unnatural in your breast!
That girl in the magazine looks like perfection,
air brushed is all she is.
Trick photography an illusion,
done by one who's good at their biz.
There's only one you in this world,
to this your mom can attest.
Peer in the mirror girl and see,
all the beauty you possess!
Love yourself and love your body,
stop starving and dying to be thin.
Real friends are drawn to your heart,
and the qualities you have within!
