Hey, Nancy Pelosi - Who Are You Calling a Nazi?

Pelosi is Either Very Dense or the Queen of Spin

Sheryl Young
Nearly every political TV show, blog and newspaper column has reported it-when Nancy Pelosi sees American people carrying swastikas to Town Hall Meetings, she calls the protestors Nazis. She's either very dense, or just really knows how to spin things.

Hey Nancy - you've got it all wrong! The people are trying to say it is the current government that are the Nazis, trying to silence the citizens and squelch free speech; and asking us to report our fishy friends to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Nancy didn't mind when the swastikas were about Bush

When President Bush was still in office, crowds in Pelosi's own San Francisco district were carrying pictures of Bush with a Hitler moustache painted on and swastikas inside circles saying "Stop Bush Oil War" (see file photo here at Washington Times). Funny...she didn't say a word about it then.

Pelosi and her Dem cronies are trying so many spins against protestors:

1) Calling us "un-American" for protesting Obamacare. That statement in itself is the most un-American statement they've uttered yet! The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Let's concentrate on that part which I've bolded; will we soon see it change, like we've seen the non-existent phrase "separation of church and state" added to the Amendment's first half? What -- will someone soon be adding "the people do NOT have the right to assemble" and trying to convince us that the founding fathers left out a word by mistake?

2) Pelosi's crowd is also trying to claim the protestors are sent by drug companies and special interest groups. NO! We're Americans.

-Quite possibly, we're Americans who have actually taken time to look at some line items in the Health Care Bill, which speak for themselves. Don't tell me I'm so stupid that I'm misinterpreting all of it.

-Quite possibly, we're Americans who haven't forgotten that one of President Obama's selling points for the Stimulus Package was to keep unemployment at a maximum of 8% - it's now nearly 10%.

-Quite possibly, we're Americans who sense that Congress members will keep their golden benefits no matter what they inflict on other American citizens, and all they care about is keeping their office in Washington.

Senators and Reps - it's ugly getting in touch with the American public, huh?

Congress members approve of their own actions among themselves because they've been locked away in their own little world. Now, they are therefore shocked by what people outside their little comfy circle are saying and they don't like it.

Well, go ahead and report me to the Nazi authorities now.

Pelosi moved to San Francisco (from New York) in 1969 and hasn't progressed from the days of Haight-Ashbury since then. (except in real estate acquisition)

in response to your restaurant change comment, Yes! In fact I went to Sonic this weekend and the girl attempted to give me back all but a $1, she assumed I was going to tip her, she asked if I wanted my ticket, I said no but I want my dollar, she didn't know what to say.

Pelosi has it backwards... it's un-American NOT to protest. She didn't seem to have any trouble with protesters against the Gulf War. Didn't she, among others on the left, refer to them as "patriotic"? Just one more comment out of many that she has made that brings her professionalism, not to mention her sanity, into question.

"Pelosi is Either Very Dense or the Queen of Spin." I think she's both as well as meaner than a snake.

Have faith in GOD BLESS AMERICA,THOUGH GOD WE SHALL DO VALIANTLY;FOR IT IS HE THAT SHALL TREAD DOWN OUR ENEMIES.

I guess calling someone a Nazi is the ultamet insult. You first have to dehumanize the enemy before you can persecute him/her. My dear dear Sheryl, we are in deep trouble!
