I already have stellar medical coverage through this place I go to everyday, called a job. So please don't promise me that.
I'm back in school working on another Bachelor's degree (this time in engineering), but the state is covering my tuition payments since I don't make that much money. SO, I don't need money for college.
Gas prices have magically been falling since the ban on off-shore drilling expired, so I couldn't care less what Obama thinks he can do for the energy sector (competition will be the driving factor, not government high-fives)
I didn't buy a house in the past couple years, understanding that I couldn't afford the monthly payments on a fixed rate loan, and only an idiot would take an adjustable rate to keep monthly payments low. So I don't need help with any foreclosures.
At 26, I've been careful not to "start a family" yet since I realize it would be costly, and I haven't reached that point in my career quite yet. So I won't be needing money from Senator Obama to help me pay for my kids.
You know what? I can't think of one thing I'm expecting from the Government right now?
Guess that's why I'm never disappointed when nothing shows up.

A creative way to make an excellent point. Obama promises it all - yet with what money? Im still not convinced he doesn't believe that money grows on trees.
Funny take on the current state of affairs :)
ROFLOL ... this is a good one! I heard on the radio today that the majority of tax related campaign promises -- on either side, by the way -- have a snowball's chance of coming true, simply because there is absolutely no money in the budget for them and because there is no way they will be voted in. Who is actually believing all the promises made?
