Hey People of Montgomery County, Its a Beautiful Day for a Revolution

A few weeks ago I wrote an article on a Montgomery County Police officer by the name of Monte Morast and his abuse of a Juvenile by taking him to the county jail and allowing him to be abused by inmates, a fellow AC producer named Taz also wrote a more in depth article on the same topic. Since then both Taz and myself have come under fire with threats being made and intimidation tactics being used (by the way to those doing this it really doesn't work, neither if us can be intimidated).

My initial interest in Montgomery County started when I began looking into the case of Jason Burkett a young man serving a life sentence in a Texan Prison, Monte Morast was heavily involved in Jason's arrest and subsequent trial where he blatantly perjured himself to help obtain a conviction.

I have always held the profession of Law enforcement in high regard the job that they do is amongst one of the toughest and there are many that wear the uniform and badge with pride, they treat the citizens they are employed to protect with the utmost respect and do a fantastic job. I myself know many officers that I can never say enough good things about. however the name of law enforcement is marred at times because of those that believe wearing the badge makes them above the laws they are employed to enforce and it is with these police that I have a problem, people such as Monte Morast.

What i have become aware of is the frightening number of people in Montgomery County that have contacted me with stories about corruption and intimidation that they have suffered at the hands of certain police and elected officials within the county, even when they do stand up and try to fight back they are blocked or ignored at every level, those that are poor and have no way of moving away are subjected to oppression in its worst form they are held prisoner by the very people that are meant to protect them. I was also contacted by a police officer within the county who told me that even he feels powerless to stop the corruption and he can not speak up against fellow officers as the repercussions for himself would be unimaginable.

A citizen of Conroe who's husband has been targeted by one officer is terrified that her husband is going to be framed and end up in prison, its so bad that it affects her business and family life, in todays society this is not acceptable and the answer lies with you the people. All the power is with you and you can make a difference.

the People of Montgomery County, I say to you that it is a beautiful day for a revolution, if you unite and fight back then you have the power to change things for the better. when you see injustice and an abuse of power report it, film it, record it on your phones. if no one will listen on the local level step up and report on a federal level. make a list of federal agencies that you can report it to and copy it and pass it around to each other, when there are elections voice your disgust there by voting out the corrupt officials in office. Send those in power the message that you will not take it anymore the power is with YOU.

Till then Taz and I are here to expose what we can, Montgomery County the ears of the world hear you, and to those that abuse your power the Eyes of the world are watching and we don't like what we see your days of intimidation and bully tactics are numbered.

I will be in Montgomery as soon as I can and to those that have threatened me you will know where and when I will be there with my camera in hand and my crew at my side. I have never backed down and I sure don't intend to start now.
