Hey...It's Halloween

The Harvest Moon was glowing bright
just in time for Halloween night.
The Tricksters were out in full force
after their treats, what sheer delight.

The ghosts and goblins,
the kings and queens.
Some hilarious masks,
what fun, hey..it's Halloween.

With bags of goodies
they travel the night
trying to scare,
what a funny sight.

When the bags are full
and the moon is high,
it's time for home
so they leave with a sigh.

Home to gobble down
all the goods of their quest,
then off to bed
for a well needed rest.
