Human growth hormone consists of a total of 190 various amino acids, and this vital hormone is manufactured and released through your pituitary glands. The primary purpose of this hormone is to stimulate the development and growth of tissue and bone (Source).
As a young man or woman your body produced a significant amount of this hormone; however, as you age the pituitary glands slow the production of HGH (Source). Because of this, dietary supplement manufacturers have begun production of synthetic growth hormone as well as HGH stimulators. One of the more prominent growth hormone products on the current market is HGH Factor. As with any dietary supplement HGH factor can cause severe side effects.
HGH Factor Ingredients:
Prior to disclosing the potential side effects of HGH Factor, I believe it is important to have a solid grasp as to what ingredients are found in this product, or actually, products. HGH Factor is available in two versions: HGH Releaser and HGH Stimulator (Source).
To start off, HGH Factor is a growth hormone stimulator - not concentrated/synthetic growth hormone. The primary ingredients found within HGH stimulator include: L-valine, L-arginine, L-glutamine, L-isoleucine, L-tyrosine and L-lysine. The purpose of these ingredients is to directly stimulate your pituitary gland to produce higher concentrations of growth hormone (Source).
The ingredients found in HGH Releaser consist of: shilajit moomiyo, BAGA and alpha GPC. While this product has fewer active ingredients, they are quite potent and work by naturally increasing the concentration of growth hormone within your pituitary glands (Source).
Since HGH Factor does not include hormones within its ingredient list, its side effects are directly related as to how your body absorbs and handles its natural compounds. If you have an allergy to any of the aforementioned compounds, then you should never consume HGH Factor.
HGH Factor Side Effects:
Although this is one of the "safer" human growth hormone supplements as it does not use hormones, some of the most common side effects include, abdominal cramping, low blood pressure, nausea, diarrhea and headaches. However, according to the HGH Factor website, this product is known currently known to the company as causing side effects (Source). Talk with your doctor to ensure this products safety, and if you experience severe versions of the aforementioned side effects immediately visit your doctor.
