About
The HGTV Dream Home is being constructed this year with architect Paul Robert Rousselle, builder Brendan O'Reilly, interior designer Linda Woodrum and house planner Jack Thomasson. The 15th annual HGTV Dream Home 2011 is located at Spruce Peak in Vermont's Stowe Mountain Resort. The 3,000-square-foot Dream Home features three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and much more.
Architect Paul Robert Rousselle was inspired by America's resort architecture and said his goal was "to create a ski house but, more importantly, a retreat or a lodge that really created a sense of repose and relaxation." The design to the home is treehouse-like and definitely will leave its future owner feeling like they've traveled far into the forest. A Hydronic radiant heating system has been installed in the floors to heat the home.
Public Tours
This year, the 2011 HGTV Dream Home is open to public tours. Tours begin Friday January 7, 2011 and end Sunday March 20, 2011. Tours are 30 minutes and take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM. The ticket price is $20 plus a $2 processing fee. The proceeds from the tours will benefit Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy, a private school for student-athletes competing in winter sports.

Vermont is spectacular and it would be cool to be the HGTV ambassador of goodwill to Vermont and my family. I hope whoever wins fully appreciates it.
My family and I love the snow and all the activities that go along with it. We also love Vermont, especially in the fall, well all year thru. It is a beautiful place, The 2011 HGTV dream home is exactly what is says, a dream home for whoever is fortunate to win it.
Me, The wife the kids and grand kids cuz, and all the family

my husband and i will love to win a dream house, we have been taking care of our 4 grandchildren for a long time.now they are with they mother it is our turn. granddaughter always said that she is going to buy us a house when she grow up, and we believed in her, a dream home to us will mean a whold lot to my husband and i . piece of mind priceless.
I watch HGTV every night & really enjoye the program & look forward to it. I am 70 yrs old & there are there are 26 encluding me in my family & expecting my 10th great grandbaby in Oct. The house in Vermount would be such a blessing for us as it would be big enough for my family to come together at one time, as I live in a mfg home & there is not enough room for us & it would be so nice to beable to live in a house.
I watch HGTV is it makes my life so entertaining..I am living in my husbands mothers basement right now and to think I could win a dream home is awsome. My husband is disabled and can not work.He was in vietnam and has alot of problems from the service. He now has suzire activity and is on lots of meds so he can not work. I work a 40 hour week and know it would be impossible to be able to own a home. I ask God everynight for a miracle. I do not have a kitchen in the basement, I use a microwave and a grill for cooking. My dream is to have a kitchen to cook in so I can invite people over to enjoy a meal..I love to cook. It would be a dream come true for me and my husband to be able to have a place where my grandchildren could come and visit and stay. Thank you HGTV for all the wonderful programs so I can dream and have hope.

This would be a great opportunity to live outside Florida, winning this amazing house for my husband and two kids....
This house is so large & beautiful & it would be big enough for all of my family to come together, as we have not been able to get together since my daughter passed away in 2001 as there has not been a place large enough for all of us. All of the little children & big kids a like would love the snow & all that it has to offer & to beable to be able to be together again.
