HGTV Dream Home 2011 Sweepstakes

HGTV is back with their annual Dream Home sweepstakes with a home located in Stowe, Vermont. Finding the websites needed to enter the sweepstakes requires weaving through the HGTV website and the FrontDoor.com website, which can be a little tricky. The rules, requirements and steps needed to enter the 2011 HGTV Dream Home Sweepstakes have been summarized to help you enter the contest faster.

2011 HGTV Dream Home

The mountain home is built in a modern rustic decorative style that was based on a nineteenth century Adirondack mountain-retreat style. The home is fully furnished with comfortable furniture specifically tailored to the mountain environment and landscape surrounding Mt. Mansfield. The total prize is valued at over $2 million. Winners will be contacted around March 12 in an "ambush style" visit.

The Dream home has 3 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms. An added ski dorm offers additional sleeping space for eight people. The home also has two gathering areas, a gourmet-level kitchen, large windows and an outdoor deck. The home also features a separate laundry room and a car barn.

HGTV Dream Home 2011 Prize

The winner of the HGTV Dream Home 2011 Sweepstakes will receive the mountain home, all furnishings and high-end appliances, a 2011 GMC Acadia Denali and $500,000 in cash. The furnishings are from Ethan Allen, the refrigerator is a Sub-Zero and other kitchen appliances are provided by Wolf.

Enter the HGTV Dream Home 2011 Sweepstakes

You can receive two entries per day between January 1, 2011 and February 18, 2011 at 5 pm Eastern Time. Simply go to HGTV.com and click on the "Dream Home" tab. Press the "Enter the Give Twice Daily" link under the picture of the home. Click on the "Entry Form" button. Fill out all the requested information, and press the "Enter for a Chance to Win!" button at the bottom of the form. After you fill out the form one time, you will only need to enter your email address to enter the sweepstakes on other days. Once you have signed up on HGTV.com, head over to FrontDoor.com and enter again. You will be able to submit one entry at each site daily. Consider doing this on a routine so you won't forget.

You may also enter the sweepstakes as often as you like by mail. Print your name, address, phone number with area code and date of birth to "HGTV Dream Home Giveaway, PO BOX 52226, Knoxville, TN 37950." All mailed entries must be postmarked by February 18th and only one entry is given per postcard. All entries must feature a handwritten entry as mechanically produced or printed submissions will not be accepted.

HGTV Dream Home 2011 Requirements and Rules

The Dream Home Sweepstakes is only available to legal residents or citizens of the United States. The websites must be accessed from within US territories for the entries to be valid. Entrants must be 21 years of age or older and entries must be submitted on the official website or by mail.
