Friday's three HI-FIve™ (HIFI : SLCAPEX) presentations and product giveaways conducted by CEO Tue Torok were a smashing success, with 61,000 shares of the IPO sold during and since the events, representing almost half of this weeks volume.

"HI-FIve™ is a new innovating company that belives in product driven services. We are going to have some immersive tools and media systems ready for sale in the near future. All our products are going to be a part of a complete solution for RL companies that want to enter Second Life for different purposes. We already have the first clients ready to join SL in the beginning of 2009 and maybe even earlier. One of the clients coming into Second Life is Copenhagen E-Sport Challenge." Torok revealed at the demonstrations, which were filled almost to capacity at each of the three times they was given.

Some of the innovations that were revealed included a brand new vendor system with some unique features not seen in Second Life before. A survey system that will make it easy for companies to get a feeling from their users and customers about any topic they might find useful. And an avatar tracking system that will provide any land/store owner with some very usefull statistics.

While the free televisions that were given away at the product demonstration were the current model--impressive themselves--the highlight of the evenings festivities were the revealing of the next generation, which will be available in the next month.

The new features will include cutting the television down by 23 prims due to new technology, Youtube being added, with a onscreen menu with search button capability, the ad network being able to send out anything HI-FIve™ chooses from a remote destination, advertisers in the TV will be getting weekly stats of how many times their advertisement has been clicked, the menu will be preloading as soon as a user is near the TV, which makes sure it runs fast and smooth. The user can select a menu color of their preference from the menu setup as well. To begin with the menu will come with 3 different themes.

This TV will probably the easiest to install in Second Life. All that is needed is how the land is owned. If the land is owned directly, simply rez it and click "Install Now". If it is owned by a group, then it needs to be Rezzed, add the television owner to the access list, deed the TV and install it. Users will never need to update the TV again, HI-FIve™ will do that for the TV owner.

Gone are the ugly blue SL Menus on the top right corner. On the new HI-FIve™ TV's, the On Screen Menu is user friend and very fast, from which users can control the TV. This is the first on screen TV menu in Second Life.

All the streams in the new TV are sorted in categories, users can pick their favorite stream and select a track directly from the menu. Fast and easy. Users will no longer have to rely on the playlists that the TV creator has made. Now, with simple clicks, they can create their own playlist out of all the Videos in the TV. After that they can simply click play and enjoy their own favorite videos.

Even if the TV is deeded to a group, users will have access to fully control it. This is made possible with a user generated Access list. Users can add an remove users that can control the TV quick and easy.

And perhaps one of Torok's favorite innovations is the Support System, which allowers user who have any problems with the TV to click the "Request Support" menu button and get assistance as soon as possible. Simply click the button and HI-FIve™ staff will be in contact, immediately in most cases.

More than 100 televisions were given away in the event, representing more than L$200,000 in products. The current generation of televisions, including those given away free at the event, can be redeemed when the next generation comes out for only L$250, a future savings of over L$2700 for those who attended the event.

HI-FIve™'s IPO on the SLCAPEX (http://www.slcapex.com/ipo) still has a bit more than 1,000,000 shares available, but at the currently increasing pace of interest in the product innovations and company profile, including the recent attention CEO Tue Torok is getting for his work with RL companies and translating the SL Viewer into Danish, means that those interested in getting into the ground floor of the exciting new company had better hurry.

Milos Designs (MLS : SLCAPEX), a similarly product driven company that began trading less than a month ago, has traded above IPO levels consistently and is currently valued at more than 20% above it's original IPO price.
