I love Panda bears and I think that they are so cute.
Recently, I was given a white Hi Panda Classic Tee Shirt as a gift. It has a graphic design of a mean looking panda on the front, you know, a panda with a frown and an "attitude". The panda certainly does not look happy at all, but perhaps that is what makes it so appealing to alternative dressers.
The owner and designer of Hi Panda Apparel and the Hi Panda Collection is a man by the name of Jiji. He was born in 1972 and was very much influenced by pop art and you can see that influence and creativity in his clothing designs. The tee shirt that I was given came in a size small with a panda button that can be worn with or without the tee shirt, which I thought that was a nice addition.
The Hi Panda Collection features men's and women's tee shirts, tank tops, polo shirts, jogging outfits, sweats, toys, jackets, and artwork.
The Hi Panda Classic Tee Shirt is one of Jiji's first creations that was on exhibit and is made with 100% cotton material. The graphic design of a Panda Bear on the front of the tee shirt is outlined in black and is the main subject and focal point. The tee shirt is also available in sizes medium, large, and extra small.
Now, everybody has their own taste and style. I truly believe that clothes are and can be reflections of each individual's personality. So, even though I believe that the Hi Panda Tee Shirt is well made and I think that the design is very unique, it is not my style. I prefer wearing tee shirts that depict happy looking Panda Bears. The reason why I say this is that when looking at the Hi Panda Tee Shirt, it does not give me an uplifted feeling. Maybe, that could be one of the intentions of the creator of the Hi Panda logo. I do not know and I cannot judge his intentions, because I do not know what was on his mind when he created the Panda design, but I just think that the Panda graphic on the Hi Panda Classic Tee Shirt looks somewhat mean and unhappy. I would not like to wear it, but someone else may love it and want to wear it. I believe as a motto says "to each their own", if you know what I mean.
Still, the tee shirt is different, unique, comfortable, and if you like Pandas and alternative style images of panda bears, you may find just what you are looking for in the Hi Panda Classic Tee Shirt.
