Hi Tech Cheating is Real

It appears that Hi Tech Cheating is growing and becoming more of an acceptable norm by some students than the traditional honest principle of studying for exams and ultimate success.

Cheating of any kind must never be acceptable to any parent, school or individual. But some will still seek to exploit the advancement in technology to suit their personal unjust desires to succeed. No one can realistically blame the inventors and manufacturers of the devices that are being used, in much the same way we cannot blame others for our own inadequacies. Cheating never really benefits anyone in the long-term but just place the dark shadow of dishonesty over someone and within his/her conscience.

Using the I-Pod, for example, in classes in a dishonest manner is one aspect of this point. Some students are using it with the false impression that they are listening to music, when in fact they are getting information relevant to their current class in-session activities from the I-Pod instead of just pure music for relaxation. It is not unusual for some students to use an I-Pod during some classes, so we can just picture this scene. But teachers and administrators will have to exercise their discretion and authority to prevent this form of cheating because is can become a more serious problem in the future if not kept in check.

Then there is another example of the high-tech pen. In todays society in America, many kids and especially those who are technologically competent at the functional inventive level, are expose to resources that can create that special high-tech pen with information to assist them to cheat. Some schools during special and final tests will specifically provide pens or ask students to use only some kind of pens, but some may not. This flexibility may provide the bright but dishonest student with the opportunity to create that special pen that will assist him with his cheating plans. Stored information can then be discreetly accessed and be used to get that dishonest but desired A or 3.8 grade average. So the need for our vigilant examiners to open their minds and look-out for all sorts of high-tech possibilities to cheat and do what are necessary to prevent this from being successful is real. This is just the same as what is being done to prevent students from breaking into secured computer records with students officials grades.

Hearing devices also matters when we think of high-tech cheating sources and methods. Many students wear an earring, if allowed to, at their schools. When these become sources of communication techniques with another person to get information into the ear of student doing an exam, then teachers and all educators must be very concerned. This method will be creation of very smart people but the use will definitely attract the students who just refuses to study but nevertheless wants that good grade. He/she may then conspire with another to supply information by-way-of information transmitted through earring during an exam. New and smart ways to cheat then takes on another dimension of control for examiners and teachers to prevent.

Those special eye glasses will need to be monitored as well. We are talking about high-tech devices and ways to cheat, so it is not unusual to remember this point. Our eyes are the gateway to our brain so we must rely on them for access and information generation. But when that special eyewear is in the form of a technological cheating equipment, then this is an entirely another matter. How this will be done can be difficult to comprehend for some. But if we think of someone wearing glasses that automatically changes its visibly presentation and use when in daylight from being indoors in the darker environment, for example, then we get a picture of what is possible. Glasses that can transmit information or be used to store information is what matters hear. Just as much as those that can see another students paper while in an examination session from a reasonably far distance. Keep in mind that high-tech cheating will have little boundaries and you can understand the possibilities of this point. Again, examiners, teachers and education administrators will need to be conscious of this and do something about it.

These high-tech cheating methods are some of the ways and means students will or may have already used to get that fraudulent good grade. How they are used will be a challenge to educators, but one that will not be difficult to control and even prevent. Many science teachers and lectures are already familiar with these and others, so they will be an asset to the educational institution when it comes to recommendation for control and prevention of high-tech cheating. Beyond a doubt, in America and worldwide, this form of cheating will grow and become more real for educators to prevent.
