I sat back one day, having a lot of trouble writing. I had writer's block and nothing seemed to be able to break through the wall. I started scribbling words on a page, and rearranging those words. Then it dawned on me that the punctuation needed to be changed. Now I don't consider myself a poet, just a creative writer. When I looked at the words I had put on the page, I saw a picture, but I read it again and saw something different. What I managed to do for myself was break throught the writers block and create something that spoke to me one way when I read it line by line and something completely different when I readit through following the punctuation. What do you think?
Hidden
Veiled in the guise of,
a million faces. Look away,
I'm lost. To the student of my philosophy,
I can never truly hide.
Never, truly be found. Deep in the soul,
I linger. Deep in the mind,
I take shape. On the lips of many.
In the eyes of few.
Fewer still, will we meet.
I am beyond your reach.
Within your grasp.
Always in disguise.
