Now the walls are down
I've done the only thing
I've ever been afraid to do
Expose my raw self to someone else

Too long I've hidden him away
This dirty, sad little boy
The feelings of all that I fear
Hidden away from everyone else
I know he has a temper
I know he is a selfish creature
I know he is nothing
Which makes me great
Too long I've hidden him away
Behind the walls of my mind
Ashamed of this darker side of me
...and yet, here he now is
...out for the world to see
I fear for his feelings....
