Pain doesn't always speak in words
Eyes relay the messages of a voice unheard
Teardrops symbolically fall to calm unsettling nerves
And sooner or later feelings of self doubt emerge
Because it gets harder to escape the hidden cry of a lost soul
Can't walk away or hide from the truth
For footsteps even silently sing the blues
Don't judge or meddle with the accused
For life has a mind of its own
While trouble visits whomever it chooses too
Listen if you will to the hidden whispers
Buried behind a mask of Silent Pain

Post a CommentIt is a great piece. Very emotional. How I wish I can express my emotions in such ethereal beauty. You're the best Alicia, and I love you.

I like the original and strong style of your writing here. That poster or illustration is a nice companion to it.
