YSL Faux Cils $28.50
One of my go to mascaras. Faux Cils is a great volumizer and is buildable for a dramatic look. Minimal clumpage.
Exceptionnel De Chanel $30
Another go to mascara for me. This one is a two-stepper. One part of the comb separates the lashes and the other builds up the lashes. Also, when the formula dries it does this fancy shrinking thing to make the lashes curl up.
Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash $18
This mascara is one of the best ones out there and the best part is it is way more affordable than most. The wand is fabulous! it separates the lashes unlike many mascaras that claim to. It adds mega volume and a good amount of length. Bonus: It has antioxidants to nurish and condition your lashes.
Laura Mercier Thickening and Building Mascara $20
The Laura Mercier Mascara is a great everyday mascara. It makes a good amount of difference without looking like you are working the street corners. Great for an everyday look.
Lancome Hypnose $24
Lancome is arguably one of the best mascara brands. Hypnose is a great buildable volumizing mascara. You can't go wrong with Hypnose.
MAC Plush Lash $12
This mascara is pretty great and the least expensive on the list. The results are just as good if not better than the above mascaras. It's very buildable like Hypnose and Faux Cils.
Giorgio Armani Maestro $26
I love this mascara so much but I never use it because it is too time consuming and messy. However, if you have the time and patience, buy this!
Over-Hyped Mascaras!
Dior DiorShow and Blackout $24
I hear so many raves about these two mascaras and I don't know why. They both clump, smudge, and flake like nobody's business. Save your money.
Imju Fiberwig $22
Fiberwig is better than any of the Dior mascaras but it is a far cry from a miracle mascara. It claims to deliver a "false-eyelashes look" but other than darkening your lashes and perhaps lengthening them, it hardly comes off like you are wearing false lashes.
