Fashionistas set the highest standards for high school fashion. The fashionista is a tough job to have as far as high school fashion goes, but someone has to do it.

Jocks

Varsity team jackets tend to transform any high school student into a jock. Many of the students who wear the varsity or letter jackets often wear them to hide their lack of fashion style. The accomplishments of trying out and making the various school teams has given the jocks the right to wear the school varsity jackets. The downfall of this teams like the chess teams don't fall into this category.

Rockers

The rocker high school fashion trend is popular for the fans of rock bands. Not only does the rocker fashion leans more toward the T-shirts of the favorite bands, but there are also the trinkets and studded bracelets that fall into the rocker fashion trend. The attitude for a rocker is just as important as the clothes that are worn. One must be serious about the music to fully fit into this fashion category.

Computer Geeks

The geek fashion trend has changed over the years due to the computer age that is upon high school students. The computer geek's wardrobe now consists of shirts that have technological jargon or witty sayings to complete their fashion looks. Role-playing gamers have risen through the ranks of computer geeks rather than being under the Satan worshiper status.

Gothic

Goth fashion is defined through the wearing of black and the students are making their own statements. The students often use various other fashion items to add to their gothic look like black eyeliner, finger nail polish, and lipstick. The gothic fashion in most cases use small thin chains hanging from pockets, safety pins, and various body piercings to make even further fashion statements. The gothic fashion trend is often misunderstood due to the clothing and other fashion items that are used.
