1. Will Hill QB SPP NJ: After his 4-touchdown performance in a nationally televised broadcasting on ESPU. Will was the front-runner for this Award in the preseason and he is leading the pack as of now. So far Will Hill has 7td's in three games and has these td's in every part of the game. You name it Will scored it, Hill is Florida Bound...
2. Kevin Watson, QB Montgomery NJ: He is a true pocket passer and this year he is out to prove that he can be a top ratted QB that made the preseason list. This year he has his team 4-0, after going 3-7 last year; whom is also looking to beat Immaculata on their way to a gain a playoff bid. He leads the state in passing for the second year in a row with over 800 yards so far and 12td passes with 1 interception. Kevin Watson, also knocked-off all of the top five preseason QB's coming into the year but Will Hill.
3. Chris Garcia WR Montgomery NJ: The talent coming out of Montgomery is amazing and know you can see why they are 4-0. He has 19 catches with 7td's and 385 yards. He jumped on this list because of the other players dropping off the scene. He is a senior so get your eyes fixed right know and call Montgomery if you are a school looking for WRs.
4. Cedric Hall; DE/WR Belleville NJ: The 6'0 180 pound DE is leading the state in sacks this year. I know this is not a very impressive stat but the Bucs are 3-1 on the season. Mr. Hall gets a sack every time he steps on the field as of now. His best performance came in a defeat; where he had 6 tackles 2 sacks and one punt block, to bad he couldn't score a td in that game. Anyhow great performance and good luck Belleville need two wins, which can make a possible playoff berth. They are a bit soft and needs to play it game-by-game, play-by-play. They need to stay focused and remember: NOBODY WANTS BELLEVILLE TO DO ANYTHING. This will also be their first playoff appearance in 20 something years. Coach Joe Fischer is working extremely hard to turn this program around. If he can take it one game at a time and beat the teams they should beat with the strength of their schedule coming up they might make the playoffs.
5. A.J. Scoopa Jr, New Milford NJ: The scrappy back has over 600 yards in 4 games, and he is tied in the state for offensive rushing TD's. He is 5'8 170 pounds, and his best game was him rushing for 342 yard and 6td's, against Becton High School. If he can put up those numbers he should be selected, and it don't matter with TheFanNJ if the kid plays in the lowest section in NJ, which is Group 1. He has his team 2-1 on the season, and they have a fair schedule.
These are your week 4 picks on the Impact Player Award. Okay, TheFan (NJ), who are some of the kids that dropped off your list.
Steven Ulicia, Edwin Frairs, Rashad White, and Carlos Calabresse. White is just having a hard time with a younger offensive line and that was suspect of him. He is still the explosive back that he was last year. As for Edwin, he only had one good game this year and has been a no-show ever since. Then you have Steven, who has been over shadowed by that talented running core the Hillers have, while Carlos has had a great game against Pingry, with a shut out. The vibe and heart or talk about the best LB in the state is just not there. Where has Carlos Calabresse disappear to; I mean he had one electrifying moments, which was over shadowed by Kevin Watson and since then Carlos has been gone. I think Carlos will be back and so will Desmond Bates. It would be ashamed that an award coming from a "Hoboken Alumni" has no Hoboken representatives on the list.
Kids to watch out for are Randel Palanco LB out of Dickinson High School in NJ. Brandon Smith the QB/S out of New Brunswick High School in NJ. Coach Paul Sacco, the Head Coach from out of Saint Joseph's High School in Hammonton NJ. He has won 9 straight titles and has the states longest game-winning streak at 34.

Post a CommentHaHa! Chris Garcia and Kevin Watson got kind of blown out at the Immaculata game . . . maybe some Immaculata players should be on this list!
A.J. Scoopa will lead the state this year....
