High School PTSA Bazaar Follows Royal Oak Holiday Parade
Neighborhood: Royal Oak
Royal Oak, MI 48073
United States of America
Patrons at downtown Royal Oak's popular Holiday Magic Parade, which begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, can make it a full day with some browsing and shopping at the Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair, hosted by the Royal Oak High School Parent Teacher Student Association from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school, 1500 Lexington north of 13 Mile Road.

Crafters from across the nation will showcase and sell one-of-a-kind gifts, including country and wooden items. Other vendors will feature homemade jewelry, clothing, pottery, stained glass and more.

Hungry visitors can look forward to cafeteria service and a bake sale.

Admission is $2 with various raffles and door prizes throughout the day.

Most elementary schools have a PTSA but such groups are more rare in secondary schools. The Royal Oak High School PTSA promotes safe, supervised activities for students and provides an avenue for general community support. Royal Oak High's PTSA newsletter, the Raven's Call, won first place at the recent Michigan PTSA state convention. For information on meetings, contact the school at (248)435-3500.
