Highland Acres, located in Aransas Pass, Texas area, is a location to park an RV. This is not, however, considered a RV Park. There are only 3 RV sites and basically no amenities, such as a laundromat, a swimming pool, a hot tub, a recreation room or any of those facilities that RVers find in RV Parks. Instead, RVers who may be interested in staying here are those who are looking for something more private with plenty of room for their boat and tow vehicle. There is also a community area with a barbeque pit and picnic table which would be perfect for a small group who might like renting the 3 sites for a stay on the "Texas Riviera".

Although Highland Acres is not as busy or offers as much entertainment to its guests as some of the other RV Parks in the area, it still has the same opportunities for its guests to enjoy the this part of the Texas Gulf Coast (or the Texas Riviera). Highland Acres is located in a rural area, but is only a mile and a half from the Gulf of Mexico, only six miles from Aransas Pass, Texas and only 8 miles from Rockport, Texas. It is only about 30 minutes from Corpus Christi, Texas. Activities in this area of the Texas Gulf Coast can keep visitors busy for days. Oso Beach Golf Course is located a mere 30 minutes from Highland Park. Goose Island State Park, Mustang Island State Park, Quarantine Shore, Conn Brown Harbor and the East Shore are also within driving distance of Highland Acres. Being located only a mile and a half from the Gulf of Mexico means that guests staying here will also have the opportunity to take part in the activities that they are interested in that are available in a beach setting, including sunbathing, fishing, swimming, bird watching, beach combing and more.

Highland Acres, even though not a large RV Park, is the perfect spot for RVers who are looking for that spot that is a little more secluded and maybe quieter. This is not, however, available for permanent stays, but is available for daily or overnight and for a month and has rates for each. The prices for staying here are very reasonable and small, "in house" pets are welcome. For more information on staying at Highland Acres, interested parties should call 361-229-6973. Due to the limited number of RV sites available, reservations are recommended.
