The teen pop idol, Hilary Duff, was born September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas. She began her career with the star role in Casper Meets Wendy and was later cast as the title character in The Lizzie McGuire television series. Due to the television series' great success, in 2003 Duff starred in The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

Duff also played roles in Cheaper by the Dozen and Agent Cody Banks, which arrived in theaters in 2003. The following year, Duff appeared in Raise Your Voice and A Cinderella Story, which contributed to her success. In 2005, she starred in The Perfect Man and in the sequel, Cheaper by the Dozen 2. In 2006, her sister joined as her co-star in the movie, Material Girls.

Conjoining her successful acting career with her musical career, Duff has released two albums, Metamorphosis and Most Wanted. Duff's singles, So Yesterday, Wake Up, and Beat of my Heart, have all reached the top of the charts at some point, including the Billboard 200 and the television series MTV TRL. Hilary continues her musical career touring the United States, Canada, Australia, and Japan.

Additionally, Duff has initiated her fashion label, Stuff, and promotes it in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Duff has also endorsed the Candie's fashion line, Barbie fashion, and Hershey's Ice Breakers.

Due to all of her success, Hilary Duff has earned many impressive awards, including a Young Artist Award, Teen Choice Awards, and Kids Choice Awards. Furthermore, Duff has been on many magazine covers, including ElleGirl, Jane magazine, CosmoGirl, OK!, and Teen People.

She has been a guest on various television talk shows and even hosted the 2005 Teen Choice Awards. Duff also remains on People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful, Teen People's Hottest Stars Under 25, and the Young Hollywood Power List. Hilary Duff remains as one of the hottest teen pop idols and currently continues both her acting and musical careers.
