Hilary Duff Wrapped with Love Fragrance

Being a classic rock person, I can't stomach the Disney-channel music that seems to be so popular today. However, when I was at that 'Disney channel age', Hilary Duff was a really big deal. Last year, I saw this gorgeous pink and green perfume bottle and bought it on a whim. Little did I know, I had just purchased Hilary Duff's latest fragrance. Not liking her that much anymore, I was extremely surprised when I fell in love with her fragrance "Wrapped with Love".

SCENT

Some of the notes in this perfume include iced honeydew and white chocolate mousse- yum! When I smell this, I immediately feel girly and like I'm ready for spring. It really is a great fragrance for teens or even the young-at-heart woman. It really does feel like you are being wrapped in love, like a big, warm hug. I cannot stress how sweet it is, though. Unlike its predecessor, With Love, Wrapped with Love is very sweet whereas With Love was more musky and mature. I definitely prefer this one over the first one, but with how sweet it is, you do not want to be generous with this. One squirt on the neck and wrists should do the trick.

STAYING POWER

I found that when wearing this perfume, it lasted on my skin about six hours. For an eau de parfum, that is below average. For me, this is fine since I have the flexibility to reapply, but this will not last all work/school day.

FUNCTIONALITY

I think this is a great scent for winter since it is so warm, but also a great scent for spring since it is so feminine and girly. I can also see this being a superb everyday fragrance for a teen.

PACKAGING

Since I am a packaging person, this is what first attracted me to this fragrance. It is an extremely feminine, flirty bottle with a circle-square shape. It is a light pink with a green bar shaped cap and has a gorgeous pink and green flower design on the front. It sits very nicely in the hand, making it easy to spray and it is definitely worth collecting.

PRICE

The largest size (1.7 fl. oz.) is available at shop.elizabetharden.com for $38. To me, this is a steal as I didn't know how much I would love this.

FINAL OPINIONS

If you are more mature or hate sweet scents, I would definitely pass on this one. It is a great fragrance for teens and those who love extremely young-candy kind of scents, and definitely worth the reasonable price tag. I highly recommend this, as it would make a great gift.
