On to the Presidential Pardons! Billary must either have a severe lapse of memory, in which case she isn't fit for the Oval Office, or she felt obliged to join in with the other jackals while they shriek about Libby's pardon. Perhaps both.
Her husband, the Teflon President obsessed with his legacy as former president, was able to execute 395 pardons while in office! The amazing aspect of that number is that 140 of them were issued in his final hours as president. Does Hillary forget the most famous (or infamous, in this case) of those pardons: the Marc Rich pardon.
Financier Marc Rich fled the country on tax evasion charges. There were charges at the time that his people used their influence and campaign contributions to effect the absolution that Clinton bestowed upon him. Clinton was deep into attorney bills at the time as a result of his legal difficulties (too numerous to mention in this article). You can draw your own conclusions. That is, if you are not a political ideologue and can face the messy truth.
Even worse, Bubba didn't consult with the Office of Pardon Attorney, according to the February 14, 2001 testimony by The Pardon Attorney, Roger Adams, during his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee. The office, part of the Justice Department, was established in 1981 to assist the president in the exercise of the pardon power.
Libby supposedly "leaked" the name of the CIA agent, Valerie Plame, so he was a target of the Dems seeking revenge against the Bush administration. Funny thing, though, is that she was supposedly well known in the D.C. cocktail circuits. It was rumored that a fair number of people knew she worked for the CIA. And what of Robert Novac, who published it in 2003. Libby is the only one charged. He wasn't the source of the leak, but became the fall guy for the political piranhas circling for blood.
Senator Clinton would be wise to keep her pie hole shut, lest the spectre of her beloved husband's midnight pardons comes back to haunt her own political ambitions.
Libby isn't eligible to apply for a presidential pardon until five years after his sentence is completed. Bush left intact the sentence of two years probation and a $250,000 fine, citing a need for some accountability. Contrast that to the criminal Marc Rich. Hypocrisy at its worst...

Thank you for this article. Obviously, Liberals have a different set of standards for Conservatives. I shudder to think what will happen if Hillary is elected. The beginning of a dictatorship in America. Of course now that Osama has made an offer of peace may be all the Liberals will campaign to denouce Democracy and embrace Islam.
The subject of Bob's article is not the injustice's of the Libby trial. His subject is blind hypocrisy. The prosecutor in the Libby trial as admitted that NO UNDERLYING CRIME was committed. Even if there had been a crime, Richard Armitage, not Libby or Rove or any one else first gave the name to Robert Novak. If the "crime" was the concern of Jeff or his leftist friends, then why wasn't the newspaper prosecuted? They are the ones making Plame's job public knowledge. This was a political prosecution. Carl Rove was the target. Libby was convicted of a process crime, a crime committed during the investigation. And this conviction will most likely be overturned on appeal.
Jeff: where the hell were all you Lefties when the other arrogant POS in the White House lied and broke the law? Why did you give him a pass for pardoning drug dealers, crooks, fugitives, etc.? Don't left wingers have any objectivity or is it all about the Party? I am as disgusted with Bush as anyone else, but can think clearly and see the hypocrisy that Billary is spewing across the political landscape. In a nutshell, none of them of either Party have any ethics, morals or concern for the future of this country. It's all about winning reelection or the Presidency and to hell with the problems in America.
right off the right wing talking points...all you righties have is to say what Clinton did, while the p.o.s. in the White House now is prepping the country for one party dictatorial rule....wake up!
